We invite you to participate in a short research study on language production and comprehension. In this study, you will be asked to make a few judgements about English sentences in conversations. The study will take approximately 3 to 5 minutes to complete.

There are no risks or benefits of any kind involved in this study. You will be paid for your participation at the posted rate. If you have read this form and have decided to participate in this experiment, please understand your participation is voluntary and you have the right to withdraw your consent or discontinue participation at any time without penalty or loss of benefits to which you are otherwise entitled. You have the right to refuse to do particular tasks. Your individual privacy will be maintained in all published and written data resulting from the study. You do not waive any legal rights or release Princeton University, its agents, or the investigator from liability for negligence. You may print this form for your records.

If you have any questions, please contact the principal investigator at sunwooj@princeton.edu.

In this experiment, you will make judgements on 10 English sentences, and on follow-ups to those sentences.

Whenever a word is CAPITALIZED, it means that the speaker emphasized it in her/his pronunciation.

This is a psychology experiment requiring undivided attention on your part. Please devote your attention solely to this task and read carefully.

We will check to make sure that everything was read. Thanks for your participation!
